This Privacy Policy explains how Comment Generator, available at commentgenerator.app, handles information when you visit the site or use the browser-based TikTok comment generator. The current product is a static MVP. We keep the description below aligned with the features that are actually active.
Information you enter
The tool lets you enter comment text, a username, a language choice, a mood, a visual style, and display options. In the current implementation, those values are processed in your browser so the live preview and PNG export can work. The site does not send the comment text to an AI writing service or require a TikTok account connection.
When you use the browser clipboard control, the text is passed to your browser's clipboard API if the browser permits it. When you download a PNG, the file is created locally from the current preview. The site does not receive the generated image as part of that action.
Local storage and free usage
The free preview counter is stored in browser local storage under a site-specific key. It records a date and a count so the current browser can display the daily allowance. Local storage is not a server account, and clearing browser storage can remove it. Private browsing settings or browser policies may prevent the counter from being saved. The MVP still works for the current session when that happens.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, request time, browser type, device information, referrer, and requested file. This information is used by the hosting and security infrastructure to deliver the site, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service. Comment Generator does not currently operate a separate account database or customer analytics profile.
Cookies and advertising
The current interface does not require advertising cookies or a login cookie. It uses browser local storage for the free preview counter, which is different from an HTTP cookie. If advertising, analytics, authentication, or a payment provider is added later, this policy will be updated before that feature is presented as active, with the relevant provider, purpose, retention, and user choices described.
Paid access and email requests
The pricing section currently uses email links for Creator Pro and Agency beta requests. A request opens your email client; the static site does not collect payment card data or process a subscription. If a real payment processor or account system is connected, payment details will be handled under that provider's terms and the policy will explain what Comment Generator receives, such as an account identifier, plan status, transaction reference, or billing contact.
Third-party links
The site may link to email, hosting, or future service providers. A third-party destination has its own privacy policy and terms. Comment Generator is not responsible for how an external service handles information after you leave this site. The tool does not use TikTok APIs and does not ask you to submit TikTok credentials.
Children and responsible use
The service is not designed to request personal information from children. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, private customer records, or another person's confidential information into the editor. When a mockup could be mistaken for a real social record, label it as fictional or illustrative.
