This Privacy Policy explains how Comment Generator, available at commentgenerator.app, handles information when you visit the site, use the browser-based multi-platform comment studio, sign in, or use checkout. We keep the description below aligned with the features that are actually active.
Information you enter
The tool lets you enter comment and reply text, a username, an optional avatar, a timestamp, a like count, a language choice, a mood, a platform layout, a visual style, and display options. These values are processed in your browser so the live preview and PNG export can work. The site does not send editor text or avatar images to an AI writing or image-generation service and does not require a social-platform account connection.
When you select an avatar, the browser reads and compresses the image locally for the preview, draft, and export history. When you use the clipboard control, the text is passed to your browser's clipboard API if the browser permits it. When you download a PNG, the file is created locally from the current preview. The site does not receive the avatar or generated PNG as part of those actions.
Local storage, drafts, and free usage
Browser local storage keeps the current studio draft, up to three recent export drafts, and the daily free PNG export counter under site-specific keys. The counter records a local date and count so the browser can display the remaining daily allowance. Recent export entries store the editable settings and locally compressed avatar needed to restore a draft; they do not store a separate server copy of the downloaded PNG. When you sign in, the browser also stores the session information needed to keep you signed in and call account services.
Local storage is not a server account. Clearing site data removes local drafts, export history, and the browser-side free counter. Private browsing settings, storage limits, or browser policies may prevent these features from being saved.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting provider and API infrastructure may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, request time, browser type, device information, referrer, and requested file. This information is used to deliver the site, authenticate requests, troubleshoot errors, protect the service, and maintain account and order records. Comment Generator does not currently use a separate advertising profile or sell personal information.
Cookies and advertising
The site does not require advertising cookies. Essential authentication and security cookies or browser storage may be used during sign-in, while local storage records drafts, recent exports, and the free PNG export counter. Waffo may use its own cookies or similar technologies on its hosted checkout page under Waffo's privacy terms. We also use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to measure site visits and understand how pages and features are used. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information such as page URLs, referrers, browser and device details, approximate location, and interactions. Microsoft Clarity can create session recordings; the editor form, generated comment preview, and signed-in account data area are masked. Accounts and paid access
If you sign in with Google, the authentication flow may provide your email address, name, profile image, and provider identifier so we can create or maintain your Comment Generator account. The service stores account, order, subscription, credit, and webhook status information needed to provide paid access and show your account history.
Paid checkout is hosted by Waffo. Comment Generator does not store full payment card numbers or security codes. We receive payment-related information such as the account email, plan, amount, transaction reference, payment status, and credit entitlement needed to confirm an order and provide support. Waffo handles card processing under its own privacy policy and terms. Production checkout availability remains subject to Waffo's merchant and product review.
Your data rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data, request deletion of your personal data, or ask us to close and delete your Comment Generator account. Send your request to support@commentgenerator.app from the email address associated with your account, and describe the request clearly. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before making changes or disclosing account data.
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before requesting account closure so that a future renewal is not created. Closing an account does not automatically reverse a completed payment or remove records that Waffo, Google, or another provider must retain under its own terms. We may retain limited information when needed for tax or accounting records, fraud prevention, security, chargeback or dispute handling, legal compliance, or the establishment or defense of legal claims. We delete or anonymize retained information when those purposes no longer apply, subject to applicable law.
Third-party links
The site may link to Google, Waffo, email, hosting, and other service providers. A third-party destination has its own privacy policy and terms. Comment Generator is not responsible for how an external service handles information after you leave this site. The tool does not use TikTok APIs and does not ask you to submit TikTok credentials.
Children and responsible use
The service is not designed to request personal information from children. Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, private customer records, or another person's confidential information into the editor. When a mockup could be mistaken for a real social record, label it as fictional or illustrative.
